Hoho, while waiting for my hair to dry, i'm here to post some updates.

Mind Sports AGM
I have become the "old old comm" after this agm. Currently, "kimchi" is the president (Y).
It's funny when the presidents of different gens gather together, well we were washing dishes together LOL
It was a really good idea to have steamboat. It felt very homely somehow. T
I joined in the event at the wrong time. Entering the lecture theatre just right before the agm was ending, and gabriel asked me down for a speech like last year, as usual, i was speechless and probably disgraced myself with my nervousness =( lol, when was the last time i spoke in front of a big crowd?
I talked and laughed throughout the event :)
These guys never changed at all, and they reminded me that I'm the same old me as well, which I have always hoped to find back the old me.
Really great to meet all of them :D
It would be quiet when the current batch seniors graduate and most will probably enter NS :( well, to enjoy while it lasts! ;)

Wooohooo! Tomorrow's Friday!
I had been selfish today :( I guess I will make it up tomorrow. At work, there has been a colleague I looked up to the moment I entered the company. Approachable, experienced, kind, hardworking and confident. I wanted to be like her. But I kept teaching the wrong things :( even though I tried to avoid myself trying to teach any new things to another person. Seriously, how I survived. Boooooooo.

Alrite, happy things: Thursdays are gonna be my faved days. I was super excited about the cardio class that I joined and I was not disappointed at all. Rawr, first lesson, I was PERSPIRING HAPPILY. Hahaha. I missed having fun in lessons. I missed being me in crowds.
Well we did some kickboxing and dancing cum exercising.
Oh, talking about hands and legs coordination, I can be real bad at that. Those movements were super awkward!
Anw, good workout! Nice instructor too, felt bad not responding well when he was trying to entertain the class lol. Guess everyone is a little shy here n there.

Can't wait for next lesson! :D

Woohoo! See what's new??????

Aha! I got a new "book shelf". Got it from ikea and since they do not provide FREE plastic bags, I carried all the way from queenstown haha. The funny thing is I went to the library with it, and I used it as a basket. Well, how convenient :D

Kinda in a good mood today. I may have things happening around me which really made me sad and unhappy, but I want to focus on simple pleasure from now on, after all happiness start within myself :) Being negative about it doesn't help at all, nor does it make me feel better. Now, it doesn't matter anymore. Hoho, anyway, it was a good start, meeting people on the way home. I really missed saying 'Hi' happily!

Borrowed books, had my usual spicy and sour ban mian dinner, a nice chill out at home in the living room, and the usual waiting for the call at the end of the day :D

Oh and I started my application for SIT. Left my results to scan!

I got new specs too :D trying to look professional and all LOL
heh, and my contacts coming sooooooooooon!

And something sweet to end off the night for me...found it in my album, it was the day before his bdae to get the doorgifts with his family.

The past week had been a rough one. Deep down you are aware of what is actually going on, yet being sad and brooding about it changes nothing, so i just got to remind myself to just focus on my work. I really need the confidence in myself. As long as i do not lose myself, i guess i still can move on.
After all this while, I realised knowing the truth silently and being told the truth are quite different matters. From the bottom of my heart, i wished i wasn't told. Some pieces start to fit, but more questions start to arise. It is the thoughts that count.
Being called a burden. Facing the same gesture "you're hopeless" daily. And there's nothing I could do. I guess I can take worse.
I'm just pathetic. Im not smart. But I do my best, blindly.
Silliest person in the world.
But for now, i should just focus on the present.

It's only Tuesday, it feels like kinda slow paced but it feels all right. Guess that is the feeling when you get used to something.

Shared cab with my colleagues today, specifically flagging only comfort blue or yellow taxis for the lowest surcharge heh.

Reached home earlier than usual, cleared my room and chilled out for a while, had a jog and got my breakfast on the way back. And I'm all ready to sleep and it is only 10pm!

Haha. I'm glad the times, when I reached office before I can see the sunlight and only left work when the sun is down, are over! Just appreciating the fact that I can see the surrounding under the sun and leaving office to see the place still sunny. (Y) Couldn't be happier for myself hahaha.

Woohoo! It's our 15months already. Joined dear's family for his mother's post birthday celebration at the House of Seafood. His bro got the $25 for $50 voucher keke. And their crabs are awesome! LOL guess it has been a while since i ate crab. RAWR chilli crab (Y) Yummy. But dear dear said our crabs are much smaller than the rest. The bill came up to be above $150 =x. The fish took up 1/3 of the bill. Fish ex zorr.

After lunch, we went gai gai in the evening and have our personal time tgt keke.

Spoilt for choices at Raffles Market Place, we decided to eat some healthy and super nourishing food (Proclaimed to have no msg). We ordered a couple set - one chicken tonic soup, one fish maw fish slice soup, two side dishes.

Had a short catching up with eugene and max on saturday. Eugene and his Navy life. Max and his working life. Haha, each of us telling our own stories, and to realise at the end of the day, we are quite similar. I'm touched when i heard that they already have some plans for my 21st birthday, even though it sounds fishy lol!

Get to meet my dear on sunday as he had guard duty :D always feeling time is too little when I'm with him :( but glad to meet him at least :)

Growing up isn't easy. As we get older, things seem to get more difficult. Everyone is going in different ways. And everyone has their hard times.

"Be nice. Everyone is going through a hard time" sounds familar?

I am on the receiving end most of the time and it feels pathetic to be at the mercy of others. But I'm tired of fighting.

Hard to be optimistic nowadays.

Weekends are too precious to me. I only have the weekends to spend time with my loved ones.

Aha! It's the time of the year when i'm re-reading my blog posts again, just to see how much I have changed. Probably, it is a good practice to remind me not to stray to the wrong side.

Waking up around 5am on mondays to fridays has its side effects. It is a saturday, i fell asleep at around 3am earlier and was wide awake at near 7am. Despite me trying to roll here n there to make myself sleep again, I could not. Nooooooooooooo.

Nvm, im going to try to be a little sporty and have a quick jog later at yishun park. The place is newly renovated (?) with some pretty spiral bridges hehe.

And after that, it will be a day with my precious one. :)

It has been a while since i blogged! I'm just too busy working and spending time with my loved ones. Life would be greater if i could just spend ALL my time with my loved ones but then......hard eh? Hah! Good news, bad news? I decided to stay on working. Many factors were involved. Well, maybe it's a good thing. I hope i will just grow into a more confident person as time passes by.

It's November already, nearing the end of the year. And I'm still wishing Santa would come by and visit me in december. LOL!

Anw, we celebrated my mum's birthday over the weekends. She was really happy when i brought two handsome guys along with me hahahaha.

It felt like it was Wednesday already. I was always looking forward to 5.30pm when I can leave office and head home to rest. But 5.30pm came in a blink of an eye, so much work left incomplete and i needed to OT to finish up. As i'm just too slow, things just get done much slower =( and thus going home was dragged much longer.

"Do faster loh", the only solution.

I wanted to voice out, "I can't cope." instead I said "I'm just too slow" which is true.

Then...."Why am i so slow lor", many people wondered.

My dad said "Even if you're not around, things will still work out, you can't work alone." And when I'm around, it feels so suffocating to make two ends meet. I just can't solve problems.

Weak? or whatever you call. Just knowing it and don't know how to go about making it better makes it so hard to go on. It has almost been 3 months. It's unhealthy the way i'm dealing with work.

Hahas. *Bangs wall* This is just too depressing for me.

Well well..

Great to know bee bee is having good meals in his vocation :) and able to talk to him over the phone for almost an hour these two nights have been enjoyable. Can't wait to see him again C:

Backpacking in Malacca! (Day 1)

It was a super unplanned trip with just the 5 of us- kokwei, wei chuan, rainer, bee bee and me. Bee bee kept looking out for everyone. I had really enjoyed myself, especially spending time with him and the rest and not worrying about work at all. I just wished it was longer or maybe forever haha.

Well well, first day, I brought all of them to see and have lunch with my family, yupp that includes my baby sister heh. They got to try msia's dry mee hoon kuay and the response was good.
After a short lunch, that's when we took an express bus down to Malacca.

My worried parents got my xiao gu who was working in Malacca to drive us around to get a hotel and recommend us places to go to. While waiting for her, we did some shopping of our essentials over at Tesco nearby.

We got a budget family with very basic accomodities. There wasn't any toilet paper though =\.

We hunted for the famous Satay Celup for more than an hour, taking many detours and asking many people on the way. Well, we didnt forget to have fun at the same time, look at these guys..hahaha

Muahahaha, we found the place at last after asking many people...

U've got to see how happy and relieved we were.

This famous peanut sauce has been used by many people, but changing it after every table would be too wasteful, that was why they couldn't open a branch in Singapore.

Nevertheless, i feel it was safe for consumption, they made a point of coming over to the tables and stir/ add in the sauce.

Super yummy food. We spent about Rm11 per person. RM0.60 per stick.

It was a long walk back. We did a bit of sightseeing on the way.

Back to the hotel, it was Magnum time!

Bad news, the fridge wasn't cold enough and the stick came out instead of the ice cream.

Time for bed.

It was already midnight when we were ready for bed. That was day 1, tiring yet super fulfilling day.

I just took a refreshing shower, prepared my sandwiches for tomorrow's breakfast and ironed my clothes too. And the thought of having a roof over my head and able to get a refreshing shower everyday makes me feel so blessed somehow. I should just be happy with what i have :)

A quick post while waiting for my hair to dry.

I've been having OT for the past three days and i can't help feeling sleepy in the morning. And there's solid evidence that to prove that.

This morning, I wore my shirt upside down and didn't realise it until an auntie suddenly stopped and whispered to me. I even stared myself in the mirror for some time to tie the ribbon on my blouse earlier then. lool! I guess i woke up with my eyes half closed. Well, i wore my jacket and had my usual nap for the journey, probably too sleepy to be bothered with it.

Ha!

I was assigned to despatch something to a company. Yup, free cab ride! When one person gets richer, taxi seems to be in the options for transport. For me, it's still the bus and train. Let me get rich pls! Haha!

This weekend was awesome. Enjoyed fri night with wenyan, giving dear a breakfast tour in chong pang, meeting up with hwaishin and then a short catching up session with dceg.

It's a reward for the 2nd week and an encouragement for the coming 3rd week. Looking forward to the weekends, let it come fast! Muahahahha!

Into the third week, i shall take it as it comes!

Really glad that NS allows my bf to book out a bit longer due to national day, i missed going out with him on non-weekends like we always did in the past. Well, i'm just looking for more public holidays now! It's double happiness for me. Haha!

The day went by really fast with quite a bit work to rush. And my bf was waiting for me to fetch me from work hehe. It's been a while.

I've got a positive badge from him, which is going to be my little motivation.

He initially planned for a pinic at a beach to watch sunset, but too bad, i ended work late :( He even prepared tasty sandwiches (pics promise!) :D

Hungry, we went for sakae buffet and we still can use our student card heh.

Working life is so different. Bigger responsibilities, greater stress. I'm just not used to it. Every night before i go to bed, i worry what will happen the next day.

Sleeping before 11pm, waking up at 4am and snooze till 5.30am, leave house before 6.30am, catch the 6.45/6.55am bus, catch a short nap and reach office at 8am and start work at 8.30am. Not bad for a person who used to always go for lessons hours late eh.

Always having extra time buffers allows me to take my own time to walk to the bus stop/ bus interchange etc. I used to run after the bus.

In the office, there will always be food passing around, cakes etc right after lunch. The whole week felt like i kept eating and just sitting in the office. My colleague said other colleagues like to buy food for us cuz they dote on his fellow co-workers, which is something i can understand so well :)

yupp yupp, so i did some exercises on sat morning. When I started my jog, my legs almost gave way. My legs felt like jelly. This shows how long it has been since i exercised! BOO!

First week of work has been quite ok. Absorbing the info and getting some hands-on. There are still many things to learn and i hope i can learn fast enough. This time, it's not about memorising like what i did in poly. So much for wasting my 3 years memorising only. It's all about understanding and memorising everything. In poly, once i don't understand, i just memorise, memorise and just memorise. Seeing my colleagues being so independent, i really got to work harder.

And i just realised how unsociable i am. :( words i meant i didn't say out, but words i didn't mean come out of my mouth instead. I'm a sad case.

Things would be better.

Okok, enough of the gloomy part! My colleagues are really nice people :) During lunch, sometimes some would drive us out. For the first time, i think it's just so cool to drive. Haha! Shall be saving up for driving lessons keke. Oh and i just wanna share, my silly brother of mine was feeling so guilty of my phone. He blames himself, saying he shouldn't have passed me the keys to hold when i already have my handphone and wallet in my hand, and the other, holding my sis's hand. It was just me being careless. Well, he's only 13! This boy ar, haha!

Anw, i found a chicken swimming in herbal soup..

oh ya, i need to sit up straight, my back is getting lazy!

Argh! Just seeing the mosquitoes makes me feel itchy all over. lol, hope tonight i will survive.

I've been taking naps in the afternoon, and it's as if no matter how much i've slept, it won't be enough. Or maybe it was just me trying to avoid some matters by sleeping.

Ever wonder why satay is called satay?

I'm not sure whether satay originates from the chinese or the muslims etc. But the answer i found is, the word, satay comes from "Sa-Tuh/Teh", meaning 3 pieces in teochew. I never really noticed how many pieces of meat were on the stick, but 3 pieces make sense. I got this from a channel 8 programme. Hah, did i add something to your gk?

Movie Date

Aha! I finally got to satisfy my movie mood which i've been holding it back for some time. Just the day before, i watched Hanna with ruskin and rainer at Yishun GV after visiting SP. It was a last minute plan and i just chose the movie randomly lol. The decision seemed to be a wrong one. We were shocked the cinema was kinda empty and we sat at the very last row. It was quite boring, especially the dialogue for the first half of the movie. One person left shortly after the movie started.

Hmmm, the movie has a storyline, but maybe too much dialogue which made it kinda dry and boring to the audience, that's what i could say.

Well well, it was nice catching up with Ruskin and Rainer. :)

Then it was a movie date with dear dear. Went to buy the tickets earlier for HP 7 the day before too, was scared that no more seats on that day itself.

Two of us don't follow the HP series, but after seeing how much response it has over facebook, i thought maybe it would be nice. Hahaha, i could understand what the chars were talking about sometimes, but my bf didn't watch the previous movie, the deathly hallows part I, i guess he was lost halfway through the movie. Oh, and I like the action scenes though. (Y)

Dear brought me to serangoon gardens new mall, there weren't many shops but there's a nice rooftop. So we spent some time chilling out and chatting under the sun.

Then when we've got nth to do, i took out my camera and started to take pictures randomly. Yup, and it's totally random ones, you will know why.

It was an enjoyable catching up session tonight. Listening to Sing Hai, Robin and Lucas's work experience, talking about things like mousehunt, a bit of politics, NS etc.

Dinner @ Just Acia was a good suggestion, cuz we stayed there for almost 3 hours! Don't worry, there were other seats around as well, so we weren't being inconsiderate.

Hmmm, talking about being inconsiderate, while waiting for the rest at City Hall Mrt Station, some of us sat at the long flight of stairs, which quite alot of people were doing that as well, maybe because nobody really uses the stairs. And there's a reason why people sat at the side of the stairs rather than the center. At that peak hour, the mrt station was packed too. Then i noticed one girl who seemed local to me, was facing her camera directly towards us and the flight of stairs. She seemed to have snapped a few photos. Well, there wasn't any scenary for her to admire, but just the flight of stairs of people and the escalators. I wonder what is it for......anw, i just smiled to the camera lol!

In another week, kokwei and rainer will be enlisting. Time flies.

How it all began

I couldn't sleep. So....I know this is random..but i just feel like sharing a bit here :)

There are many memories that i reminisce about over and over again.

Such as how i started to build up those feelings of mine..

How I used to admire him from behind;

How I used to laugh at his random jokes, which sometimes i could hear them from afar;

How I wished I could get to know him better in person but only could do that by stalking his blog (Haha, it was a secret)

And it came true in the end!

It's always so entertaining. I led myself back to where it all started, walking through those memories slowly. And as i come back to where I am now, I feel kind of blissful.

When i'm bored, i would just stare into blank space and start thinking of the times we spent together.

(Note: I do so out of nowhere either.)

When I'm sad, thinking of us makes me feel stronger and happier.

When I'm happy, I can't wait to share the good news with him.

When I'm sick, all i have to do is think of the "get-well-soon" porridge.

When I feel negatively towards a person, thinking of loving him makes me feel a better person and thus neutralise those feelings. Maybe that's why they say "Love makes the world a better place".

Always counting down to the 10th of the month.

And many many things more that one couldn't possibly think about in just a minute! Yup, a minute!

I may be an amateur but i know exactly how i feel. At least, i'm sure that now, i'm a happy person. I'm so grateful that this special person has walked into my life.

What if?

What if you know the job may be tough?

What if you know you may be blamed for no reasons?

What if you're the middleman, and may be scolded from both external and your own people?

What if everything you do, you got to be cautious everytime or else you take full responsibility of your mistakes?

What if you know you may get sabotaged, stucked in the middle or just be the scapegoat and there's nothing you can do much about it?

What if all these is due to the job nature?

But, what if I still want to take up this challenge and see how i can overcome it or maybe just get the experience from it?

Is it worthed it, i wonder. Anw, all jobs will have these probs, just that the chances of getting them are higher.

My interview today was a new experience for me. Usually for all interviews including trial ones i've went through, when they asked me to tell them more about myself, i would usually say "I'm a poly graduate with a diploma in clean energy.." and they would take over the conversation. This time, it didn't happen, and i was waiting lol and yupp, the uncommon awkward silence during the interview. Booo, my brain should have worked a little faster haha.

My interviewers don't seem to be interested, so time to look out for the next one!

More interviews = more experience.

Enjoyed my day with my dad too. We merely met to eat lunch together, went home took our own naps for the whole afternoon, and well, dinner wasn't burnt today, as my dad helped me out. So yupp, i cooked with my dad. (Y)
